Avalanche Racing takes FOUR PODIUMS at Canterbury

Chicago, IL - January 13, 2009 -  It was a great weekend for Avalanche Racing at the ISOC Snocross National at Canterbury Park! Derek Ellis (the man in PINK) running the C&A Ski's/Pink Ribbon Riders sled powered his way to a 3rd Place Podium in Semi-Pro Stock and Semi-Pro Open. He ran fantastic in both of his heat races and brought home some well deserved hardware. Way to Go DEREK!

Sport Driver - New Recruit -Kyle Fiebelkorn made it happen with a phenomenal run in the Sport Super Stock #2. He finished 2nd in his heat race which easily qualified him for the Final. He hit the trigger in the Final and one at a time picked off his competitors to a 3rd Place Podium Finish.

Awesome Style... Kyle!

And our outstanding Jr Rider Mr James Johnstad was the NUMERO UNO in the Junior 14-15 Class in all his heats and the Final.

PLUS Andrew Johnstad made the short list for Pros invited to the ESPN's Winter X Games

Not a bad weekends work HEY!?

We also had a special appearance from Kylie Abrahamson our Championship Pro Women Racer. She is recovering from wrist surgery but that didn't keep her from being there to cheering on her teammates.
