Teen Challenge Sled for Eternity Ride!
by Scott A. Sumner
There were over 190 snowmobilers out on a cool morning February 28th 2015 anxious to get on the trails to ride for a good cause! The temperatures quickly rose and after a well organized registration with Teen Challenge staff and volunteers it was off for one of two ride options including sled head long version from Kakabeka to Shebandawon for lunch, to Shabaqua for gas and then back to the Kakabeka Legion for a great dinner.
Some $40,000 after all expenses was raised for the Ten Challenge Operation in Thunder Bay. The riders were smiling, Teen Challenge people happy and plans already underway for next years event!
