Thunder Bay Snocross Racer Kenny Mandryk Having Some Great Results On
National US Circuit
by Scott A. Sumner
Twenty year old Kenny Mandryk started racing motocross at age 3 and recently has began snocross racing as well- at a high level.
In the summer Kenny races motocross and has for 17 years now. He has raced pro motocross in Canada and semi pro in the US.
Kenny who also works full time as a carpenter at a cabinet shop in Thunder Bay, but on the weekend it is all about when the gate drops.
Kenny went to Duluth and Jackson Hole this season and won all heats and finals in his Sport Lite class. The next race at Canterbury he advanced to the Sport class as the Polaris race team guys thought this will be in his best interest.
Kenny did well in qualifying heats at Canterbury both daysl, almost at the top, but had some troubles in the finals with race incidents to finish well back in the pack of 15.As the season progresses I’m sure we will see this young racer progress in his new class and continue his snocross career. Next on the horizon
is the Amsoil Snocross Deadwood,South Dakota race.
